Clematis of the moment

Clematis Clematis are one of my favourite plants. I now have a collection of over 200, with many still to find ! There is at least one clematis in flower in my garden every day of the year.

Clematis 'Westerplatte'.
Clematis 'Westerplatte' has large rounded flowers, very rich red, with deeper red anthers. Flowers from June to September (a bit earlier in Jersey), reaching up to 6 feet high.

This clematis should be planted in sun or semi-shade.

Raised by Brother Stefan Franczak of Poland and is described as "a stunning cultivar".

Clematis 'Westerplatte' is a particular favourite Clematis.
