Hello and welcome to my garden This site is designed to give you a chance to look at my garden full of unusual plants at my home in Jersey, Channel Islands. Please look around my site and I would be pleased to welcome you if ever you are passing ! judith.queree@jerseymail.co.uk Where is my garden? My home and garden is in St Ouen in the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey. It maybe a small garden measuring just over quarter of an acre but it contains many rare and unusual plants. With over 1,500 mainly herbaceous perennials from all over the world; all nurtured in accordance with organic principles. A large bog garden contains a collection of over 80 water loving Irises and many other plants that relish the damp conditions, such as Primulas, Lobelias and terrestrial Orchids. Other areas of the garden provide the drier conditions loved by plants like Dieramas and the sun loving Salvias; a large collection includes many tender species from Central America. Every day of the year there is a Clematis in flower somewhere in the garden not surprising with over 250 different varieties and species clothing every available support.

Our home - Creux Baillot Cottage My husband, Nigel, and I have lived here since 1977, progressively changing the house and garden. Our home is a 300 year old granite cottage set in the side of a valley, in the north west corner of Jersey. Accessed only by a small country lane, the valley is secluded and peaceful. Visiting my garden.
My garden is open to visitors from Easter to the end of September at 11am or 2pm each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Other times by arrangement. 5 GBP per person, includes a tour around the garden with me which is informative and fun.
